" A long way to find spring", each 50 cm x 50 cm.

"Harerut Veins", 160 cm x 65 cm. Paints and threads on canvas.
Though initially thinking of a river and its way across land I have to now think of thin skin and tendons stretching over a surface... connecting elements, .... or the nerves of history feeling across time...

"Shiny Bay", 130 cm x 100 cm.
I have been thinking of the surface of the Earth as an ever changing canvas, that produces marks and colours out of its own nature. Not only that though, "un-natural" processes leave their traces, patches and more severe signs of manipulation.

"Dark Peak Safari", 165cm x 65 cm.

"Vast memories to walk", 50 cm x 50 cm.
Making these two it felt like a rather breathless walk to look from one end of the scenery to the other. I had to think of the hardship of travelling on foot...

I have called this "Ancient waters". I am fascinated how time leaves marks on land and how change, manmade or naturally occuring becomes visually apparent.
Each of these is 52 cm x 71 cm, so together, the make a display about 160 cm wide.
